The CapChar Registry, provides a public record of all the biochar carbon removal transactions that have been undertaken using the CapChar solution. This includes the following data:

Retirement date: The date on which the retiree, retires the biochar carbon unit from the market.

Beneficiary: The name of the entity that has purchased the biochar carbon units (BCUs) from the Biochar Producer and retired them from the market.

Biochar Carbon Units (BCUs): How many biochar carbon units have been retired. Each of which represents 1 tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent sequestered for over 100 years.

Biochar produced: How many equivalent tonnes of biochar were produced to the associated transaction.

Biochar producer: The name of the entity that produced and sequestered the biochar.
