Develop your biomass energy project with CapChar

Start a CapChar project by sharing your biomass source and volume, heat demand, site location, available budget and timing. We assess suitability before developing an equipment scope and project-specific proposal.

Discuss your project ↗

What makes a promising site?

Suitable material

An identifiable biomass source, enough volume for the proposed scale, and a practical approach to preparation and storage.

Useful heat demand

Drying or heating demand that can use the available heat at the right temperature and time.

An operating plan

Space, services, operator capacity and a realistic budget for installation and ongoing operation.

From first enquiry to a defined project.

  1. Share feedstock, location, heat use, budget and timing
  2. Discuss technical suitability and the commercial assumptions
  3. Confirm site requirements and development responsibilities
  4. Define equipment scope and a project-specific proposal
  5. Agree delivery, commissioning and acceptance requirements

Working at a smaller scale?

Smaller-scale requirements remain in development and are not currently available to order.

Tell us your budget, annual material volume and labour expectations. Your enquiry helps us understand demand and shape the development pathway.

Tell us about your operation.

Include your material type and source, annual quantity, moisture, existing handling, heat requirement and available budget in the message.

Practical questions

Common questions.

What information does CapChar need for an initial assessment?

Share site location, biomass type and source, annual quantity with units, moisture estimate, current handling, heat demand, budget and timing. Estimates are useful at the first stage.

What happens after I enquire?

CapChar reviews the fit and discusses the technical and commercial assumptions. A suitable opportunity can then progress to site requirements, equipment scope and a project-specific proposal.

Can I enquire with a smaller budget?

Yes. Include your budget, annual biomass volume and available labour. Smaller-scale requirements are in development, so an enquiry records requirements without committing to an order or delivery date.
