dMRV — the records
Our beta digital monitoring, reporting and verification platform supports feedstock provenance, production measurements, sampling records and evidence of biochar end use.
Carbon infrastructure
CapChar connects its beta dMRV platform, Biochar Carbon Code and public registry to support eligible biochar carbon-removal projects. Operators need production records, laboratory results, project emissions data and evidence of eligible biochar end use.

The Biochar Carbon Code sets out how eligible projects quantify and document carbon removal, including the emissions associated with the project.
The CapChar registry provides a public record of Biochar Carbon Unit transactions and retirements.
Carbon-removal revenue can complement useful heat and biochar value where a project meets the requirements.
CapChar provides equipment, integration and carbon infrastructure. Project operators produce and market their outputs; CapChar does not sell their heat, biochar or carbon credits.
Producing biochar does not automatically create eligible credits. Net removal, testing, verification, issuance and buyer requirements all matter.

Organisations exploring a carbon-removal purchase can contact us to discuss the project context and producer route. Availability and terms are confirmed by the relevant producer.

Biochar carbon removal stores a portion of biomass carbon in a durable solid form and an eligible end use. Credited net removal must account for the relevant project emissions and satisfy the applicable methodology and verification requirements.
dMRV supports evidence collection. The Biochar Carbon Code provides the methodology for eligible removal. The registry provides public transaction and retirement records. These are complementary parts of CapChar’s carbon infrastructure.
No. Eligibility depends on feedstock, production, laboratory evidence, project emissions, eligible end use and required verification. Buying equipment does not guarantee credit issuance or a carbon-credit buyer.
